Ralph Losey’s album DOORS ON MARS and Other Planets is resonance-based meditation music incorporating NASA-released space sounds, Mars recordings, and planetary sonifications. The album includes sounds and sound-images associated with Mars, the Sun, Venus, Earth, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.
These otherworldly sounds are woven into PrimaSounds meditation music to help open imagination, deepen relaxation, and invite inner exploration. The image above shows the famous “door” on Mars, a naturally occurring rock formation photographed by NASA. The green eyes were added for fun. Mars, apparently, already had the door. I merely supplied the doorman.
The track “Mars” is a revised version of the Mars piece first released on the 2022 album SPACED OUT. This version was revised to include additional sounds recorded from the Martian environment, including wind on Mars. The seven other tracks are new original compositions: “Venus, Indica,” “Sun, Sativa,” “Earth, Hybrid,” “Jupiter,” “Saturn,” “Uranus,” and “Neptune.”
The album is designed for natural inner exploration without drugs. That is the point. No chemicals are required. Just sound, attention, imagination, and a willingness to space out responsibly.
PrimaSounds does not promise visions, healing, or altered states. But these tracks may help listeners relax, quiet inner chatter, and open doors of imagination. Used gently, they can become a safe and far-out way to explore the solar system in the mind’s eye.
